INTRODUCTION

All praise is due to Allah who has favoured us above many of His creatures. Allah says “if you are to count the favours of Allah on you, you can not enumerate them” [Qur’an 16:18] “which of your Lord’s favour will you (men) and you (jinn) deny” (Qur’an 55:13)

We thank Allah abundantly and may He multiply his favours on us (Amin)
Fellow believers, being less privileged is a trial from Allah and Indeed being less privileged is a trial from Him “And it is He who has made you generations coming after generations, replacing each other on the earth And He has raised you in ranks, some above others that He may test you in that which He has bestowed on you. Surely your Lord is swift in retribution, and certainly He is Of- Forging. Most Merciful” (Qur’an 6:165)
” _ _ _ And We have made some of you as a trial for others; will you then be patient? And Your Lord is Ever All-Seer (of everything)” (Qur’an 25:20)

OUR STAND

This organization is a non governmental organization with the under listed stands

• >> The basis is spiritual
• >> It is life-long affair
• >> ATF is independent of any pre-existing Islamic organization
• >> ATF is not a parallel organization to any Islamic organization
• >> ATF may have relationship with any Islamic organization if the needs arise

REFLECTION
To Allah be the glory, we have been endowed with material and immaterial resources; intelligence, sound health, optimism, wealth, certificates, influence and dignity, just to mention a few. It is therefore incumbent upon us to utilize these enormous resources to cater for the relatively less endowed. This in appreciation of Allah’s countless favours on us and attempt at passing the trial (of endowment) from Him. Or how can we call ourselves Muslims, the ambassadors of Allah on earth, the giver of glad tiding and warners and fellow Muslims are suffering at our noses tips: For how long should we fold our arms in akimbo and allow Muslims to be deluded and converted from the fold of al-Islam on account of sickness, poverty and other vicissitudes of life: For how long should we allow the brotherhood of Islam be eroded all because a Muslim in need finds none to assist when it matters most ! If a friend in need is a friend indeed, then much more should be expected from believers who are brothers of one another!

CALL TO ACTION

Awake Oh Muslim! this is a call to action. What approach should then be employed in carrying out this enormous task? Allah has the best answer “Surely Allah loves those who struggle in His cause in rows ( coordinated manner), as if they were a solid structure” (Qur’an 61:4).
This led to the birth of Al-Ansor Trust Fund (ATF). A non-governmental organization that harnesses and coordinates the arms of the Muslims. This obviously will make meaningful impact in the lives of the less privileged. There is blessing in congregation, says the Prophet (PBUH). What we cannot achieve individually, collectively it is made easy, bearing in mind that little drops of  water can make an ocean and little pebbles can make a mountain(if Allah wills). 
Through this Qur’anic methodology (the collective and coordinated approach) ATF has been putting smiles on the faces of the less privileged. No wonder, people call it the Noah’s ark for the less privileged. 
Al-Ansor Trust Fund (ATF) is an organization of muslims that was formed in April 2000 when Allah (SWT) inspired some then Muslims students (in University of Ilorin, Nigeria) to think of how they can contribute towards lessening the burden of the less privileged.

The organization structure shall be based on 3 levels / organs namely; National, State and Branch Organs.
